The crime trend in Hamm shows: Hamm is a safe big city.

The number of violent crimes is on the decline. Fortunately, for example, the number of robberies in public spaces has fallen. It is at its lowest level for ten years.

Stable number of crimes

The number of crimes has also stabilized at a low level with 13,591 cases. In addition, the number of domestic burglaries remains low at 265 cases. Almost half of all crimes ended in attempts. However, Hamm police will of course not rest on their laurels and will continue to work with a special investigation commission to reduce the number of burglaries even further.

Good clearance rate

She is also pleased with the good clearance rate: 55.21 percent of all crimes were solved. However, the aim is of course to further increase the clearance rate.
